Crowns and bridges are fixed prosthetic devices that are cemented onto existing teeth or implants. A crown, often referred to as a ‘cap’, is used to entirely cover or encircle a damaged tooth or cover an implant.

Bridges, on the other hand, are used to replace one or more missing teeth by spanning the space where the teeth are missing. For both crowns and bridges, the procedure usually requires two visits.

On the first visit, the dentist prepares the tooth (or teeth) by removing the outer portion so the crown or bridge will fit. Between the two visits, a temporary crown or bridge is put in place to cover the prepared tooth while the permanent crown or bridge is being made. During the second visit, the temporary device is removed, and the new crown or bridge is checked for proper fit. It is then cemented into place.

Our patient advocates will provide you with treatment proposals from the three dentists that best fit your dental needs. We will share their suggestions and treatment plans then explain the details, costs and help you compare them so that you fully understand your options.

3. SCHEDULE a videocall

We will schedule a time for you to have a video conference with the dentist that you feel best meets your dental needs. This will help you and the dentist or surgeon to understand your dental needs, the steps necessary to accomplish your treatment and make sure you all of your questions and concerns have been addressed.

4. ChoosE YOUR PLAN

We are here to assist you in making an informed decision that best suits your dental needs and financial situation. Once you have decided on a treatment plan and clinic, we will start planning your travel arrangements.
