A root canal is a common dental procedure that is performed when the pulp of the tooth, which contains nerves and blood vessels, becomes infected or damaged. This can occur due to deep decay, repeated dental procedures on the tooth, or injury to the tooth.

The goal of the procedure is to save the tooth by removing the infected or damaged pulp, cleaning and shaping the inside of the root canal, then filling and sealing the space.

The dentist will make an opening in the crown of the tooth and use small dental instruments to clean the pulp from the pulp chamber and root canals, and to shape the space for filling. After the space is cleaned and shaped, it is filled with a biocompatible material, usually a rubber-like material called gutta-percha, and sealed with adhesive cement. Finally, a temporary filling is placed to close the opening until a crown or other restorative procedure can be performed to protect the tooth and restore it to full function.

We will schedule a time for you to have a video conference with the dentist that you feel best meets your dental needs. This will help you and the dentist or surgeon to understand your dental needs, the steps necessary to accomplish your treatment and make sure you all of your questions and concerns have been addressed.

4. ChoosE YOUR PLAN

We are here to assist you in making an informed decision that best suits your dental needs and financial situation. Once you have decided on a treatment plan and clinic, we will start planning your travel arrangements.
