Sinus Lift DETAILS

A sinus lift, also known as sinus augmentation, is a surgical procedure performed to increase the amount of bone in the upper jaw, specifically in the area of the premolar and molar teeth, near your sinuses.

This procedure is often required before getting dental implants if the patient has experienced bone loss or if the sinus is too close to the jaw for implants to be placed.

Once you’re cleared for the procedure, the oral surgeon will cut into the gum tissue where the back teeth used to be, lifting the tissue to expose the bone. A small, oval window is then opened in the bone, and the membrane lining the sinus on the other side of the window is gently pushed up and away from the jaw. The space left by the uplifted sinus is then filled with bone graft material, effectively raising the sinus floor and providing more bone area for the implant.

We will schedule a time for you to have a video conference with the dentist that you feel best meets your dental needs. This will help you and the dentist or surgeon to understand your dental needs, the steps necessary to accomplish your treatment and make sure you all of your questions and concerns have been addressed.

4. ChoosE YOUR PLAN

We are here to assist you in making an informed decision that best suits your dental needs and financial situation. Once you have decided on a treatment plan and clinic, we will start planning your travel arrangements.
